Bridging the Gap

I've never been a religious person, growing up in a Caribbean household it was a given to go through the passages of the Catholic church (baptism, communion, and confirmation),so I did what I was told and followed along.

I always had my own relationship with faith, not abiding to anyones rules. I expressed gratitude and thanks for all things that occurred in my life, whether it was positive or negative.

Fast foward to now I discovered peace in my faith as well, living through manifesting things in my life . I attend church more now than I've had in the last couple of years, all cause I feel my journey in life has brought me to the point of combining my faith with my intentions.

It was always said that science and religion never mixed. So why is it I feel so align with exercising both in my life?

By definition prayer "is a solemn request for help or expression of thanks addressed to God or an object of worship." Gratitude can be defined as "the quality of being thankful; readiness to show appreciation for and to return kindness."

Each go hand in hand. Recently I went to a Sunday service at my local church and was presented with the task of expressing prayer for something or someone as well as expressing gratitude for something, someone, or life itself.

This was the first time that I saw these two mention in the same breathe in a religious setting.

So as I manifest my thoughts and actions through gratitude, I pray to continue to be brought to this awareness of self and the world around me. Live life with love, humility, gratitude and faith, and watch how everything flows naturally.

 With love, K
